NGO “We are Special” unites the families which bring up children with disabilities. All children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Down’s syndrome have significant disturbances of self-regulation and body sensation, defective tone, unbalanced sense of balance and coordination. Sports activities are vital for children with disabilities, they have a positive effect on the physical, psychological development of children, make them more confident, less stressed. Unfortunately, physical sports schools do not accept children with disabilities. And now we have faced with the problem: where to engage the child? NGO “We are special” will equip a room for sport activities for children with disabilities and aims to purchase sports equipment.
